Although it is popular to believe that  San Francisco squirrels pose a big threat to humans’ health, this is not completely true. Another health risk that is posed by  San Francisco squirrels can be linked to ticks and fleas. This is a primary risk since squirrels have a tendency to be infested with ticks and fleas. The danger carries by ticks is the tick fever. Once a California squirrel carries this into your home, it may infest your pets. In addition, squirrels may have fleas. Fleas can take up residence in your pet and it can be so hard to get rid of. These insects are microscopic and they will live in your carpets, soft furnishings, and in your furniture. Squirrels can be a threat to health. However, the best way to avoid getting infected because of squirrels is through a high level of hygiene. It would be easy to avoid sickness through hand washing.
